Chaman Vatika ‘Gurukul’, Ambala, celebrates spirit of hard work

On Workers Day, the Gurukul celebrated the spirit of hard work and dedication with a special badge distribution ceremony to honour the unsung heroes of the school. Each badge represented heartfelt gratitude for the work they do every single day to keep our school running smoothly. The students also presented a skit dedicated to all the workers. A message from Principal Sonali Sharma: “True education happens not just in the classroom, but in a community where every role is valued. Today, Chaman Vatika ‘Gurukul’ honoured the people who work behind the scenes — whose efforts make a difference in the lives of our children every day.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
