In every student’s life, there is usually one teacher who makes a lasting impact. For me, that teacher is my chemistry teacher, Mehak ma’m. She not only taught me the subject but also inspired me to learn with interest and believe in myself.

When I first began studying chemistry, I found it difficult and full of formulas that were hard to remember. But Mehak’s way of teaching changed everything. She explained concepts using experiments, models and real-life examples, making lessons simple and engaging. Slowly, I began to enjoy the subject — and even started doing well in it.

What sets her apart is her patience and friendly nature. Whether we struggled with balancing equations or solving numericals, she never got upset. Instead, she would smile and explain it all over again. Her words — “Chemistry is not about memorising, it’s about understanding” — completely changed how I approached learning.

What I admire most about Mehak is her caring attitude. She encourages every student to ask questions without hesitation. She also often reminds us how science, especially chemistry, is a part of everyday life — from the food we eat to the air we breathe. Her passion made me realise how fascinating and useful the subject truly is.

To me, she is not just a teacher but a role model. She has taught me the value of hard work, discipline, and staying curious. Her positive outlook and dedication inspire me every day.
