The true potential of a student is always found and curated by a teacher.

Teachers are a blessing in disguise. They guide and shape the destiny of a student. They teach us to be better human beings.

This is the day to express gratitude and respect to the mentors who selflessly work to build the future citizens.

Teachers are not only those present in educational institutes, but our parents are also our teachers. A father, who teaches his kid to walk on egg shells or a mother who teaches them to never back away, also give important lessons to us.

After giving their hundred per cent in imparting education, teachers just expect their students to give them respect. But unfortunately, this relation is somewhere lost now.

A wll-known American Proverb goes “If you can read this, thank your teacher.”

As a student of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, I express my gratitude to the teaching faculty and our Principal Mrs Shama Kukkal.

Though, teachers don’t have any specific favourite student, we always choose a one. I have always admired my chemistry teacher. Not only in chemistry but she also guides us on how to live life to the full. She is the one I am always thankful to for helping me gain confidence after my sudden academic downfall.

She explained to me the cycle of life — the ups and downs that come in quick succession. I never got any kind of discouragement from her side, rather she always motivated me to go on the right paths.

She explained to me the philosophy of life that changed my view of life and hardships. I’ll be always thankful to her for enlighten me with such great knowledge.

I am forever grateful to the teachers I have met in my school life. Let me take this opportunity to truly thank every teacher who guides us on this path.
