Students participated with immense excitement, making the event lively and memorable. The programme began with a yoga performance on “Vande Mataram”, showcasing energy and discipline. This was followed by a speech on Children’s Day, highlighting the significance of the day. Later on, there was an awareness session by Sarita Rana, Child Counsellor, State Legal Services Authority, Chandigarh. Her session focused on personal safety, cyber safety, the POCSO Act, child labour TOFEI, and available victim-support mechanisms. Her talk empowered students to understand their rights, identify unsafe situations, and seek help confidently. The day included a variety of engaging activities, such as a magic show, face tattoos, and a cultural programme. Teachers presented a meaningful play on the theme “Role of Discipline”, while students performed a play on “Environment Protection”. A vibrant fashion show representing “Unity in Diversity” highlighted eminent personalities from different states, followed by an energetic Punjabi dance by students. Teachers recited poetry and delivered a thoughtful speech. The programme reached its peak with an inspiring address by Principal Monika Puri. She appreciated the participation of students and teachers.
