A two-day athletics meet was organised for students of Alpine Public School, Bhawanigarh, to mark the Children’s Day. The event began with a march past by the students. The Principal welcomed everyone and encouraged the participants to do their best. Many sports events like 100 to 400 metre race, relay race, long jump, shot put and tug-of-war were organised. On the second day of the event, winners were given medals and certificates. The Principal appreciated the enthusiasm of the students and told that sports help in building confidence, discipline and fitness.
