Children's Day was celebrated with zeal at DAV Public School, Hardaspura. This year's celebration revolved around the inspiring theme "Udaan", symbolising the limitless dreams, aspirations and potential of children. The event commenced with traditional rituals, setting a graceful and auspicious tone for the day. Jaram Singh (retd District Coordinator, PNB) honoured the occasion as the chief guest. Young learners from classes III to V captivated the audience with their enchanting performances. Alongside vibrant cultural presentations, the students also showcased impressive declamations and thought-provoking plays, beautifully reflecting the spirit of Udaan. Their lively dances, melodious songs, expressive recitations and dramatic performances filled the atmosphere with joy and admiration. After the performances, a prize distribution ceremony was conducted to recognise and appreciate the outstanding efforts of the students. The chief guest felicitated the achievers with certificates and prizes, applauding their hard work, creativity and dedication. The ceremony infused the young learners with pride and motivation to continue excelling in various fields. Following the prize distribution, Principal Ashok Kumar Guleria extended warm greetings to all on the occasion of Children's Day. Addressing the parents, he emphasised their crucial role in shaping their children's bright future. The programme concluded on a joyful and heart-warming note as the young achievers were encouraged to dream big and continue their "Udaan" towards excellence.
