Sacred Heart Sr Sec School, Chandigarh, marked Children's Day with great joy, warmth and enthusiasm. The programme began with a meaningful prayer service led by the teachers, followed by a thought-provoking speech highlighting the significance of the day. Adding vibrancy to the celebration, teachers presented a series of performances that delighted the audience. A graceful dance sequence showcased the joy and energy associated with childhood, while a heartfelt poetry recitation captured the innocence, imagination and dreams that define young lives. A group of teachers also sang melodious songs dedicated to their students, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, affection and nostalgia. The highlight of the event was the address by Principal Reverend Sister Venita Joseph. She emphasised the responsibility of the school family to guide children towards becoming compassionate, responsible and confident individuals. To enhance the festive spirit, an inter-house tug of war competition was organised. In a thrilling contest, Saint Joseph House secured the first position, followed by Saint Mary House in second place and Saint Francis House in third. The celebrations concluded on a sweet note as chocolates were distributed to all children.
