The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev was celebrated by the students and the staff of the school. The celebration commenced with a prayer. Soothing ‘shabads’ were chanted by all. Students disseminated information about the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. They paid tributes to the Guru by spreading his divine message of harmony, humility and equality through poems and orations. The spiritual ambience of devotional ‘bhajan’ and ‘ardas’ sparked a religious fervour in air. ‘Langar’ was distributed among the students, staff and parents. Principal Sarita Yadav threw light on the importance of the day.
