The school organised a paper bag activity for classes I and II students, focusing on recycling and waste management. The initiative was part of the Environment Education Programme of the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. The Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PCST), Chandigarh, provided financial support for the activity. DAV College, Jalandhar, served as the nodal agency for DAV schools in Punjab. Under the guidance of Principal Sarita Yadav, students showcased their creativity by transforming discarded paper bags into innovative items. The activity promotes environmental awareness, education, and sustainable practices among school students.
