Students and teachers celebrated International Yoga Day. Warm-up exercises were conducted and all students and teachers performed various asanas, with their significance being explained simultaneously. The students practised pranayama and other asanas, showcased different yoga postures and pledged to incorporate this activity into their daily routine. Sadhna Sangar, Yogacharya and retired Principal of Government College Dera Bassi, elaborated on the importance of yoga and a healthy diet in our daily lives. Both students and staff participated in the celebration with keen interest. The event concluded with a speech by Principal Sarita Yadav, who encouraged students to practise yoga regularly to maintain fitness and enhance concentration.
