A capacity building programme on ‘Cyber Safety and Security’ was organised at the academy for the entire staff. It featured Manjeet Jauhar, former Principal of Kundan International School, Chandigarh, and Amit Kumar, PGT from Cambridge Innovative School, Jalandhar, as resource persons. The event promoted interactive sessions, with a focus on safeguarding participants’ online presence on the issues related to cyber ethics, cyber security, cyber awareness, bank frauds, cybercrimes, computer forensics, etc. All these topics were explained through PPTs and informative videos. Activities were also conducted for making the session interactive and purposeful. The programme concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, where the staff actively participated, enhancing their understanding of cyber safety. School Principal Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh appreciated and emphasised the importance of staying vigilant in the digital age and urged everyone to implement the knowledge gained to ensure a safe and secure online environment.
