Saint Soldier International School, Chandigarh, celebrated Dasehra through a special assembly organised by the students of Class IX. The programme began with an insightful talk highlighting the significance of Dasehra as a symbol of the victory of truth over evil. The audience was enthralled by a devotional choir performance, a vibrant musical play depicting the triumph of good over evil, a moving poem recitation, and a lively dance presentation that reflected the festive spirit. The school chairman, director, adviser and principal attended the event. Principal Anisha Ghuman lauded the efforts of the students and emphasised that the real celebration of Dasehra lies in conquering one’s inner evils and upholding truth, humility, and compassion. The assembly concluded with the message that Dasehra is not just a festival of celebration but of reflection, inspiring all to embrace goodness in their lives.
