Sky World School, Panchkula, celebrated Dasehra. The highlight of the celebration was a magnificent effigy of Ravana, crafted by the talented Arts Department, showcasing creativity and teamwork. Students and teachers gathered on the school ground where the grand effigy was lit, symbolising the victory of good over evil. The burning of Ravana filled the atmosphere with joy and excitement, reminding everyone of Lord Rama’s triumph and the importance of truth and righteousness in life. The event not only brought alive the spirit of Indian culture and tradition but also conveyed a strong moral message to the young learners. The celebration ended on a note of happiness, unity, and festivity, leaving the students with cherished memories.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
