Chaman Lal DAV Senior Public School, Sector 11, Panchkula, celebrated the festival of Dasehra with great enthusiasm, emphasising the eternal message of the triumph of good over evil. The event began with vibrant performances based on the 'Ramayana'. Students captivated the audience through enactments of key episodes from the epic, reinforcing the values of truth, righteousness and moral strength. A symbolic effigy of Ravana was displayed, highlighting the victory of virtue over vice. On the occasion, Principal Dr Mamta Goel addressed the gathering, stating, "Dasehra teaches us to overcome negativity with wisdom, courage, and values. May we always choose the path of truth and integrity." She also encouraged the school community to celebrate a Green Diwali by saying no to crackers, promoting environmental awareness and sustainable festivities. The event concluded with thunderous applause and renewed commitment to Dasehra's timeless message.
