The school shined in the Inter-School Punjab School Education Board Zonal-Level Tournament 2024-25 held at Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Mukerian. Principal Manpreet Kaur Bhogal congratulated all gold medallists of the basketball U-19 boys and girls’ teams, gold medallists of volleyball U-14 boys and girls’ teams, tug-of-war U-17 boys, U-17 girls’ teams, silver medallist teams in badminton U-14, U-17 and U-19 girls and bronze medallist boys’ U-14 team in the tournament. Chairman Ravinder Singh, members of trust and principal felicitated the winners.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
