DAV Public School, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh, achieved a historic feat by winning the U-19 boys and U-19 girls titles, along with a silver medal in U-17 boys, at the Inter-School State Table Tennis Tournament 2025-26 organised by the Education Department, UT, Chandigarh, at Table Tennis Hall, Sector 23, Chandigarh. The U-19 boys’ team (Saksham, Pritish Sood, and Naman Chhabra) defeated DC Montessori 3-0 in the final, while the U-19 girls’ team (Aarshia, Paridhi, and Manika) edged Ashiana Public School 3-2 in a thrilling contest. The U-17 boys’ team (Vishal Garg, Ankush Kumar, Atharv Moudgil, and Yuvaan Mahajan) secured silver medal. Principal Mantosh Pal Singh congratulated the paddlers for bringing glory to the school with this remarkable all-round performance.
