DAV Chamba kids excel in athletics meet

Students of DAV Public School, Hardaspura, Chamba, brought pride to their institution with an exceptional performance at the DAV Athletics Meet - 2025 (Cluster 4, H.P. Zone F) held at the Police Ground, Bargah, Chamba. The two-day sporting event was organised by DAV Public School, Chamba, and concluded, in a grand and spirited manner. The host school, DAV Chamba, emerged victorious in the overall winner trophy (Boys - U14, U17, U19) category, while DAV Surangani secured the runner-up (Boys) position. In the girls' categories, DAV Surangani lifted the Overall Winner Trophy (Girls - U14, U17, U19), and DAV Chamba secured the Runner-Up (Girls) position. Adding to the festive and cultural vibrancy of the event, students of the host school presented a soulful folk song followed by an energetic Himachali Natti performance. The event was graced by Abhimanyu Verma, ASP Vigilance, as the Chief Guest. Principal Ashok Kumar Guleria congratulated all the winners and participants. Individual excellence was honoured through Best Athlete Trophies in each category: Girls U-14: Sejal, DAV Una, Girls U-17: Karuna, DAV Chamba, Girls U-19: Shreya, DAV Chamba, Boys U-14: Atharv, DAV Chamba, Boys U-17: Krishna, DAV Una, Boys U-19: Shaurya, DAV Chamba.
