Students of DAV Public School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, won accolades in the Ludhiana Sahodya School Complex (LSSC) Athletics Meet held at Police DAV Public School, Civil Lines, here recently. Karan Spal secured two silver medals in 100m and 200m races in the U-14 category. Karan, Shiven Sood, Manik Gupta and Mridul Batra won the silver medal in the 4x100m relay race in the same age group and clinched the overall first runners-up trophy. On the second day, in the girls U-14 category, Anahat Sindhu won bronze in 100m sprint, and Khushi Tyagi secured gold medals in 200m and 400m races. In the girls U-19 category, Harshika Dhammi secured gold medals in 100m and 200m races, for which she was adjudged the best athlete in this age group.
