The school celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with grandeur. The chief guest, Balak Ram, graced the occasion and shared his insights on the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life. He guided students through various yoga asanas and explained their benefits. The programme began in the school courtyard with a yoga demonstration by students from classes VI to VIII. Under the guidance of the Physical Education teachers, the students presented well-coordinated and rhythmic performances of asanas such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Trikonasana, and Surya Namaskar. An essay writing competition on the topic "Yoga for One Earth" was held for classes IX and X. Meenakshi Thakur secured the first place, followed by Rubal Chauhan and Yukti Shah in second and third positions, respectively. For classes XI and XII, an inter-house quiz focused on the history, objectives, global recognition and health benefits of yoga. Divyansh and Ekansh from Hansraj House won the first place, while Ishika and Naman from Dayanand House came second. In his concluding address, Principal Ashok Kumar Guleria encouraged students to adopt yoga as a regular part of their lifestyle.
