With the aim of promoting scientific literacy amongst learners and equipping them with 21st century skills like critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity, DAV Public School, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh, organised a science model- making activity for the students of classes III to X. The students made environment friendly and cost-effective models, which had real-life applications. The event received an overwhelming response from students. The students showcased the working models of Newton’s cradle, human excretory system, water alarm, model on Newton’s laws of motion, friction, Tesla coil, human lungs, solar eclipse, solar system, plant and animal cells etc. The School Principal, Monika Paliwal, interacted with the participating students and appreciated their efforts.
