The school hosted a CBSE-organised workshop on the topic ‘Happy Classrooms’, bringing together educators to discuss ways to make a classroom happy. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Rakesh Kumar Chandel stated, “A happy classroom is prerequisite towards creating a supportive, respectful and inclusive environment where students feel empowered to learn and engage.” The workshop, led by CBSE resource persons Anupam and Dr Upasana Vashishtha aimed to empower teachers with the tools and knowledge to create a happy and effective learning environment where students thrive both academically and emotionally. Sessions were interactive that included fostering positive relationships, promoting positive interactions, encouraging intrinsic motivation and providing opportunities for social and emotional well-being. Both resource persons experienced and respected in the field of education guided the participants about the strategies of making a classroom happy focusing on emotional intelligence, interactive learning, positive learning environment and student engagement. Interactive discussions, engaging activities and real life applications made this session highly effective.
