The school hosted a series of inter-school subject-based workshops for teachers under the aegis of the Patiala Punjab Cluster. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 200 educators, representing various DAV institutions, who came together to deepen their subject knowledge and promote collaborative professional learning. The workshops, held across key subjects such as science, social science, English, Punjabi, Hindi, economics, mathematics, ICT, business studies, and EEDP, aimed at empowering teachers with innovative pedagogical strategies. Emphasis was placed on language skill development, student engagement techniques, integration of technology in education, and assessment practices aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines. A team of 36 Master Trainers and expert resource persons conducted interactive sessions that included hands-on activities, group discussions, and impactful presentations. In his welcome address, Cluster Head and Principal of the school Vivek Tiwari said, “Such professional development workshops play a vital role in equipping educators with new insights and methodologies, ensuring that teaching remains dynamic and effective.” Principals from DAV Public Schools across Patiala, Nabha, Malerkotla, Chanarthal Khurd, and Badshahpur Ghagga also played an instrumental role as observers and mentors during the workshops, further enriching the experience for all participants. The entire event was meticulously organised by Priya Kapoor (in-charge) and Kamini Sharma, along with a dedicated team of teachers, under the guidance of Principal Vivek Tiwari. Participants were awarded certificates of participation and expressed their gratitude for the insightful, hands-on experiences and the opportunity to collaborate beyond their individual institutions.
