DAV Public School, Patiala, organises orientation programme
The school conducted a vibrant and informative pre-primary orientation programme for the parents of the students of the upcoming academic session 2025-26. The event was aimed at familiarising parents with the school’s philosophy, curriculum, teaching methodologies, and the overall learning environment. The orientation began with a warm welcome by Principal Vivek Tiwari, who emphasised the importance of early childhood education and the pivotal role that parents and educators play in shaping a child’s future. A detailed presentation was given by the pre-primary teacher Monika Kaushal outlining the daily schedule, writing skills, pencil grasp, and key activities planned for the year. The programme included interactive sessions, such as English rhymes by Ritu, Lovneeta, Nidhi and students, Hindi rhymes by Minakshi Nirola, Nidhi and Tina and students. Pre-primary teacher Salony Babbar presented a wonderful story with beautiful puppets. Shiwani guided the parents about rules and regulations of school written in almanac.
