The school organised vanmahotsav on its premises with theme ‘Ek Pauda Ma ke Naam”, which included plethora of activities for students of classes VI to X. The day started with a speech on vanmahotsav in assembly by Kirandeep Bawa. Students of classes VI and VII presented a nukkad natak highlighting the importance of afforestation and losses due to deforestation. Class VIII students prepared beautiful designs and painting on T-shirts for creating awareness about green life among all. Class IX students showcased their talents through poster-making competition. Class X students prepared collage on green ideas. More than 500 students participated in the activities to mark vanmahotsav. In the T-shirt design competition, Tushita got the first position, Sana Siddiqui second, Sanna third and Bianca Puri got consolation prize. In poster-making, Bhavya Singla got the first position, Manishwar second, Saksham third and Sohana got consolation prize. In the green idea collage-making competition, Gaganjot, Mansirat, Khanak and Swastik got the first, second, third positions and consolation prize, respectively.
