DAV Public School, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh, celebrates Earth Day

The Kindergarten Wing of the school celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm and a strong sense of environmental awareness. The young learners took part in a variety of thoughtfully planned activities aimed at nurturing a sense of responsibility towards the environment. The celebration featured a play, skit, action song, speech, and slogan presentations — all centred around the theme of environmental conservation and the importance of protecting our planet. Principal Monika Paliwal applauded the efforts of the students and staff, stating, “It is heartening to see our youngest learners convey such meaningful messages. Their awareness today will lead to a more sustainable tomorrow.” The event proved to be a valuable learning experience, emphasising the importance of introducing environmental education at an early age.
