The school celebrated Republic Day. The event began with the unfurling of the national flag by the Principal, followed by the rendition of the national anthem. The students and staff gathered to honour the spirit of the Indian Constitution and to pay tribute to the freedom fighters who laid the foundation of our democratic nation. The programme featured a series of cultural performances showcasing the diversity and unity of India. A thought-provoking English speech on the significance of Republic Day highlighted the importance of the day, its historical relevance, and the role of every citizen in upholding the values of democracy, justice, and equality. Students presented a melodious Hindi song that evoked feelings of patriotism among the audience. The performance of the Hindi poem was deeply inspiring, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made for the country’s freedom and the responsibility of every citizen toward nation-building. A soulful Punjabi poem resonated with cultural pride and unity in diversity. Adding vibrancy to the celebrations, a lively and energetic dance performance titled “Hume Azadi Dekhni Hai” captivated the audience and celebrated the spirit of freedom and determination.
