Twenty-four students of the school have been selected for scholarship of Rs 6,000 each under the Deen Dayal Sparsh Scheme by the Indian Postal Department (Philately Scholarship Scheme). In the competition, children had to go through a two-tier selection process. In the first phase, a written examination was conducted by the Philately Department in which 45 children were selected. In the second phase, the selected children made philately projects on various subjects and sent them to the Postal Circle, Shimla, where projects of 40 children were selected from schools across the state. Out of which 24 projects of the children of DAV, Bankhandi, were selected. Chairman of DAV, Bankhandi, Ravindra Talwar, Manager BK Yadav, ARO Vikram Singh and Principal Subhash Sharma congratulated the winners for their hard work and excellent achievement.
