Students of the school participated in the DAV National Sports Cluster-Level Athletics Tournament 2024-25. Students of the school won two gold medals, 15 silver medals and 17 bronze medals. Students also won the runner-up trophy. Nayasha won the gold medal in long jump and Ishan Guleria in shot put. Banshul, Ruhan, Arnav and Anmol won silver medals in athletics tournament. Aryan, Vihaan, Tanuj, Parv, Divyansh and Anmol won bronze medals in the athletics tournament. Bikram Singh, Principal-cum-ARO, HP Zone-B, congratulated the students, teachers and parents. He encouraged the students to participate in such sports competitions in future also.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
