DAV school hosts sports event

DAV Public School, Ambota, hosted the inaugural ceremony of its sports cluster level event, bringing together talented students from various schools. Eight prestigious DAV institutions participated in events like skipping, kabaddi and chess across Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls. The ceremony welcomed Vice Chairman KC Katna as the chief guest. The event began with a vibrant march past, showcasing discipline and rhythm, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. The DAV Gaan and National Anthem filled the atmosphere with pride and patriotism. The oath-taking ceremony emphasised fairness, honesty and sportsmanship. Principal Namit Sharma encouraged players to participate with fairness, cooperation and confidence, highlighting the tournament's role in holistic development.
