The 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur was observed with great devotion and enthusiasm at DAV School, Patran. While giving information, school Principal Navdeep Vashisht said a special programme was organised in the school in this regard. At the beginning of the programme, Bhavna, a student of Class IX, shared special information related to the life of the ninth Sikh Guru. After this, students from classes V to VIII presented Shabad Kirtan and poems prepared by music teacher Pooja Gill and Punjabi teacher Ranjit Kaur. The stage was managed by Punjabi teacher Manpreet Kaur. At the end of the programme, Principal Navdeep Vashisht paid rich tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur and inspired all students to follow the path shown by the Guru.
