The DAV National Sports Meet 2024 was held at the iconic Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi. DAV, Patran, emerged as a beacon of excellence by securing the Overall Winner Trophy along with a Winner Trophy in the U-19 Girls’ Wrestling category. The wrestling matches were held at the Indoor Stadium, Noida, where in the U-19 Wrestling event, the trio of champions — Harmanjeet Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, and Navneet Kaur — clinched gold medals with remarkable performances. Adding to this triumph, Ishpreet Singh captured another gold medal in the U-19 Wrestling category. The success continued with Arshpreet Kaur and Harpreet Kaur securing bronze medals in the U-17 wrestling event. In the U-14 Wrestling event, Kartik delivered an impressive performance by winning a silver medal, while Paramjeet Singh, Iran Shah, and Lovepreet Singh showcased commendable resilience and skill, each securing bronze medal. The athletics events took place at the Akshardham Khel Gaon, New Delhi, where Khushpreet Singh brought pride to the school by winning bronze medal in the U-19 High Jump event.
