DAV School, Rajpura, hosts inter-school mathematics exhibition

The event began with the traditional lighting of lamps and recitation of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by a motivational maths song performed by students. Children from nine schools, including Mukt Public School, Mukt Trust International School, SD Public School, CM Public School, Humming Birds School, Heritage Public School, Baby Convent School, Scholars Public School and Patel Public School, showcased their mathematical talents. Students from classes VI to VIII presented models on various mathematical concepts, such as the Pythagorean Theorem, geometry, measurement, probability and numbers. A panel of judges, comprising Yashpal Manvi and Sarita Rani, evaluated the models and interacted with the students. The winners of the exhibition were announced as follows: The Humming Birds School secured first place, Baby Convent School took second place, Mukt Public School claimed third place and SD Model School received a consolation prize. Principal Alpna Pathak praised the students' efforts, acknowledging their creativity and mathematical skills.
