The school hosted a two-day capacity-building programme on critical and creative thinking, organised by the CBSE COE, Panchkula. The programme aimed to empower teachers with innovative methods to foster critical thinking and creativity in students. The workshop was inaugurated by the venue director-cum-host Principal Bikram Singh along with senior resource person of the CBSE Veena Singh, founder and Principal of Unison World School, Dehradun, along with Rajinder Kumar, Principal of Gilly Mundi Memorial Community School, Fatehabad, Haryana. As many as 60 teachers attended the event. Veena Singh insightfully introduced the importance of critical and creative thinking in education. Rajinder Kumar focused on how to foster creativity among teachers and students through problem-solving scenarios, collaborative projects, and real-life examples. Both of the resource persons further shared the various tools and techniques that cultivates and assess students’ critical and creative thinking skills. Bikram Singh said such workshops enrich and equip the teachers with new strategies in meeting the challenges they face in their day-to-day teaching.
