The school hosted a School Twinning Programme for students of Government Senior Secondary School, Makroli, as part of an initiative to enhance the quality of education in government schools. The programme, held for students of classes IX to XII, aimed to foster a spirit of collaboration and knowledge-sharing between the two schools. Students, accompanied by their principal and teachers, visited DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Rehan, where they engaged in various innovative teaching-learning methodologies, best practices, and cultural activities. The School Twinning Programme, launched in Himachal Pradesh, seeks to bridge the gap between government and private schools, promoting excellence in education. By sharing resources, expertise, and experiences, both schools worked together to create a more inclusive and effective learning environment.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
