Day Star School, Manali, take part in 'Beat Plastic Pollution' campaign
The school actively participated in the “Beat Plastic Pollution” campaign by organising cleanup drives in Dhungri, Old Manali, Gompa Road, the private bus stand and the school campus. Students collected 16 kg of plastic waste, which was responsibly handed over to the Manali Municipal Corporation. Alongside the drive, the school conducted rangoli and flower arrangement events and a creative session where students crafted decorative items from recycled materials, promoting sustainability. Through these initiatives, the school aims to instill environmental responsibility in students and reinforce its commitment to a cleaner, greener Manali.
