The school celebrated Teacher’s Day. The pre- primary wing and the primary wing students honoured their teachers through cards and singing poems in the classes. The students of classes V to IX honoured their teachers through role-plays, poem, speeches and even mimicking their favourite teachers. For class X students, a pupil-teacher exchange event was held. Later the students of Class X presented a vibrant show that made the day a memorable one. They presented the school’s journey from the establishment of DC Model to DCM Group of Schools through a PowerPoint presentation. The show stealer of the day was the boys’ dance performance titled “From Retro to Metro”, where they showcased a dance mash-up spanning from the ’80s to 2024. Managing Director, Bharat B Gupta appreciated the spirits of the students.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
