The school organised an investiture ceremony to bestow the responsibilities on the newly elected members of its students’ council for the academic year 2024-25. The ceremony was graced by Bharat B Gupta, Director of the DCM Group of Schools. The event commenced with the morning prayer, which was followed by a formal welcome to the chief guest. The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes by the guest, Principal and other dignitaries. Principal Vishali Kaushal congratulated the newly appointed school council members and administered the oath to the council members who pledged their allegiance to their school. Bharat B Gupta also congratulated the members of the students’ council and advised them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
