The school hosted the Western Command Inter APSs Hindi debate competition. A total of five schools -APS Sangrur, APS Delhi Cantt, APS Unchi Bassi, APS Damana and APS Jalandhar - from different clusters in the Western Command participated in the competition. Chairman of APS Jalandhar graced the occasion as the chief guest. Students from classes IX to XII exhibited their debating acumen on 'Social Media Abhivyakti ki Swatantrta ko Badhawa Deta Hai Ya Samajik Asantulan Ko'. Himanshu Raj of APS Delhi Cantt was adjudged the 'best speaker for the motion' whereas Modita Sharma of APS Damana was declared the 'best speaker against the motion'. Akshat Singh of APS Damana bagged the position of the 'best interjector'. APS Damana grabbed the runner up trophy whereas APS Jalandhar emerged as the 'overall winner' of the competition. The participants were felicitated by the chief guest. The winning team will now represent the Command at the national level.
