Debating championship held

The SUVICHAAR - Debating Championship 2025, a flagship inter-school event organised by Hansraj Public School, Panchkula, and the Panchkula Arts & Literature Circle, concluded with a vibrant showcase of youthful intellect and passionate articulation. General VP Malik, PVSM, AVSM, Former Chief of Army Staff and Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The championship's final round featured five shortlisted teams from 16 participating schools, presenting compelling arguments on thought-provoking themes. The teams demonstrated strong content, persuasive delivery and quick thinking during the rebuttal round. The school choir's melodious welcome song added a soulful touch, and a short recap of the preliminary round was also presented. The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by the dignitaries, who awarded trophies and certificates to the top three teams. All participants received digital certificates, recognising their participation and debating skills. The event highlighted the importance of values-based dialogue and critical thinking among young minds.
