Delhi Education Minister unveils “School Web App” for Govt Schools

Delhi Education Minister, Ashish Sood today unveiled the “School Web App” an advanced digital platform designed to modernise education and administrative processes in the MCD government schools.

The aim of this initiative is to make the education system smart, transparent and accessible, enabling students, parents and teachers to avail all facilities on a single platform.

On this occasion, the minister said, “This app will simplify time management and the learning process for students while reducing the administrative workload of teachers, making education more effective.”

Through this app, all important information such as timetable, homework, notes, attendance and results will now be available from home.

The use of this technology will also allow parents to stay constantly connected with their child’s academic progress, thereby strengthening the communication between schools and parents.

Senior officials from the Directorate of Education, principals of various schools, school management members and a large number of students attended the event.

In his address, the education minister said, “This app will encourage skill-based learning and integrate activities that promote sports under the Fit India initiative. This app represents a model of modern India's education system, where tradition and technology move forward together.”
