Delhi Public School, Karnal, celebrated its spectacular Annual Day with an immersive and enchanting theme - 'The Wizarding World: A Journey of Friendship, Courage and Magic,' inspired by the globally beloved Harry Potter series. It was a grand success, transforming the school grounds into a magical replica of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The active participation of Dipsites from classes Nursery to IV and Cambridge Wing added the charm to the event. The function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest Sohan Lal Garg, Chartered Accountant and Industrialist, Managing Director of GDR Group, Chairman of Gopal Dev Educational Society and guest of honour Rahul Katyal, industrialist, President of SD Model Senior Secondary School and celebrity guest Neha Dhupia. This was followed by the Principal's annual report. The cultural programme was the highlight of the evening, featuring a series of meticulously choreographed performances that brought the Harry Potter universe to life. Students enacted key scenes showcasing the values of friendship, courage and loyalty-core lessons embedded in the series. Energetic dances portrayed the thrill of a Quidditch match and the charm of the Yule Ball, captivating the audience with their creativity and enthusiasm. In her address, Principal Dr Suman Madan commended the students' dedication and the faculty's tireless efforts in presenting such a large-scale production.
