Dental workshop for Class II kids


A dental workshop was organised at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, for the students of Class ll. The workshop focussed on the dental awareness talk on common dental ailments such as cavities, gum diseases and tooth decay. Guest speakers, Dr Taruna, Dr Antara and Dr Ruchika talked about the importance of flossing, brushing teeth twice day and regular dental checkups. They made the students aware of the common dental problems through a presentation. The children were told about the food choices that can cause tooth decay along with the right way to brush their teeth. The dentists laid stress on how students should eat less chocolates and junk food to maintain their happy smile.
