Pinegrove School, Dharampur, recently hosted the Grand Finale of the 8th Mohinder Memorial Bilingual Turncoat Debate, a unique event bringing together eloquent bilingual debaters from 13 prestigious schools across India. The chief guest, Inder Jeet Mittal, Former Deputy Director, ISTM, Government of India, was formally escorted by BSAI President and Executive Director of Pinegrove School, Capt AJ Singh, Director of Administration Mrs Samiksha Singh, and other School Heads. An esteemed panel of judges - Gp Capt Sudhir Diwan, Pramod Sharma, Dr Mukesh Sharma and Hemank Kapil - adjudicated the dynamic final debate on the topic: 'This House Believes That Using AI in Surveillance is a Violation of Fundamental Rights'. Pinegrove School, Subathu, emerged victorious, lifting the prestigious Winners' Trophy. Army Public School, Dagshai and Pinegrove School, Dharampur, were declared joint 1st Runners-up, while Wynberg-Allen School, Mussoorie, claimed third place, reflecting the spirit of healthy rivalry and camaraderie. Individual honours were also awarded: Riquezza Diwan of Pinegrove School, Dharampur secured 1st Prize, Aryan Sirswal of Pinegrove School, Subathu won 2nd, and Khushmeet Saini of Army Public School, Dagshai secured 3rd place. Seven bright participants were awarded consolation medals: Simrath (Pinegrove School, Subathu), Nishika Kumbhat (Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School, Jodhpur), Jhanvi Singh (St Soldier Divine Public School, Panchkula), Shaurya Bansal and Saumya Gupta (Wynberg-Allen School, Mussoorie), Ekam Kaur (Pinegrove School, Dharampur) and Hamreet Kaur (Vivek High School, Chandigarh).
