A District-Level Science Drama Competition was organised at Mukand Lal Public School, Sarojini Colony, Yamunanagar, with enthusiastic participation from six schools across the district. The chief guest was Sneh Lata, DEO, Yamunanagar. The event aimed to blend science with creativity, encouraging students to communicate scientific concepts through engaging theatrical performances. Participants presented thought-provoking dramas based on theme – Science and technology for the benefit of mankind. Each performance reflected the students’ understanding of science while showcasing impressive acting, scriptwriting, and stage coordination. The competition was judged by a panel of experts, including Anamika, PGT English, Mukesh Kumar, Distict Cultural Coordinator, and Sanjeev Kumar, PGT Physics, who appreciated the innovative approach of the young participants in making science both entertaining and informative. The school secured the first prize, followed by Swaraj Public School, Damla, and GSSS Malikpur , Bangar. Addressing the gathering, Principal Seema Kataria praised the initiative and encouraged students to continue exploring science beyond textbooks through experiential and creative platforms like drama. The event concluded on an inspiring note by Manager Shashi Bathla for igniting curiosity, scientific temperament, and teamwork among students.
