Diwali celebrated at Bhavan, Panchkula

The spirit of Diwali was celebrated with warmth and generosity at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, as the NSS volunteers, comprising students from classes XI and XII, shared the festive joy with the underprivileged children of Evening Chetna School. The celebration included a traditional Diwali Puja conducted with the students and the distribution of gifts and sweets to brighten their day. Principal Gulshan Kaur praised the NSS volunteers for their heartfelt contribution and community spirit, emphasising the importance of giving back to society. She extended her wishes to the students, urging them to celebrate a green and eco-friendly Diwali, mindful of the environment. She also encouraged the students to continue making a difference in the lives of others, not just during festivals, but throughout the year. "The true essence of Diwali lies in spreading light, joy and kindness," she remarked. "And by engaging in acts of compassion, we create a brighter future for everyone," she added.
