On Vijay Diwas, the students of kindergarten and classes I and II of the school paid tributes to the brave martyrs of the nation by visiting the Shaheed Major Anuj Rajput Memorial in Sector 10, Panchkula. This educational visit was designed to instil the values of patriotism, gratitude, and respect among young learners, while introducing them to the stories of heroism that shaped India’s history. The students, dressed in their neat school uniforms, began their visit by offering floral tributes at the memorial. A solemn moment of silence was observed as a mark of respect for Major Rajput and all martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation. Teachers narrated the inspiring story of Major Rajput’s life and sacrifices, helping the young students understand the significance of his contributions. KS Arya and Usha Arya, who were present at the memorial, interacted briefly with the students and shared anecdotes about their son’s unwavering dedication to the nation. This personal interaction left a lasting impression on the children, deepening their understanding of the sacrifices made by soldiers and their families.
