Buds ‘n’ Blooms, the kindergarten wing of the school, celebrated World Energy Conservation Day with a series of engaging and educational activities aimed at instilling the importance of energy conservation in young minds. The highlight of the day was a special ‘Circle Time Activity’ where students actively participated in learning practical energy-saving tips. They were encouraged to adopt eco-friendly habits such as walking or cycling for short trips, switching off electrical appliances when not in use, conserving water by ensuring taps are tightly closed, and utilising natural sunlight instead of artificial lighting. The session also emphasised the importance of caring for plants, unplugging devices after use, and wearing warm clothes to minimise heater usage. To further enhance their understanding, students watched educational videos on energy conservation, making the session both informative and enjoyable. The interactive approach not only engaged the children but also inspired them to embrace sustainable practices in their daily lives.
