Dyal Singh Public School, Dyal Singh Colony, Karnal
On Kargil Diwas, the school celebrated the bravery and sacrifice of the heroes of the Kargil War. The school collaborated with FM Radio 94.5 for an event titled “527 Heroes”, named in honour of the 527 soldiers who were martyred during the conflict. FM Radio 94.5 played a significant role in this collaboration, sending 5,27,000 salutes from listeners to commemorate the martyrs. In school assembly, students came together to sing patriotic songs and pay tributes to the heroes of Kargil. The assembly featured inspiring speeches by Principal Sushma Devgan, along with RJ Divya and RJ Aditi.
