The three-day Vigyan Jyoti Science Fair came to a close in the school. Organised in collaboration with IRADA, the event aimed to imbibe a scientific perspective amongst the young prodigies. Highlights of the fair included a delightful puppet show and a planetarium that unfolded the mesmerising mysteries of astronomy and the night sky, casting a spell of wonder. Attendees were captivated by enthralling demonstrations on hydroponics, methods to detect food adulteration, scientific miracles and other fascinating experiments. The pinnacle of the fair was the exhibition of models prepared by students of classes V-IX, showcasing their impressive scientific projects and experiments. The fair, a vibrant mosaic of knowledge, was also attended by students from Karnal Public School, DAV Public School, Baba Ramdas Public School and several other schools of the city, fostering a spirit of unity and communal learning. Additional highlights included a Science Quiz and a Painting Competition which allowed students to showcase their knowledge and artistic talents. Anita Raina, Chairperson, DSPS-7, gave away the prizes and trophies. Principal Shalini Narang said such events inspire young minds to delve deeper into the wonders of science and fostering the future scientists of tomorrow.
