Eleven ‘New Near Earth Objects’ were discovered and registered by students of the school with NASA’s International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC). The school is delighted to announce that the efforts of Diksha of Class XI and her team, DSPS, DSC, Aryabhatta (IASC) under the guidance of Sushma Devgan (Principal) and Dr Kaveri Chauhan (Senior Scientific Officer, FSL) were recognised for the same in the felicitation ceremony held on the school campus in recognition of the Provisional Discovery of Main Belt Asteroid: TD40 found in data provided by Panstarrs telescope. Dr SK Kamra, Emeritus Scientist (Hon) and Principal Scientist (retd) CSSRI, Karnal, graced the occasion as the chief guest along with other esteemed guests — Dr Namaste Sen, Dr Chandrakanta, Dr Girish, Vivek Arora, and school alumni — Dr Robbin Juneja, Dr Sahil Arora and Dr Ritesh Nandwani.
